…that Ian Curtis took his life away.

In so doing he indirectly spawned a critically-acclaimed film, a ropey Paul Young cover version, a strange pair of New Balance Trainers, a Half Man Half Biscuit song about oven gloves and the best selling twelve-inch single of all-time.

Oh, and Interpol.

Rather than wasting you money on tacky footwear, remember the original Macc lad (he was from Macclesfield, remember) by listening to this rather splendid Japanese import copy of
She’s Lost Control.
